The Sydney Shared and Co-Working space is getting closer to a reality. We’ve looked at a couple of places and how it all works is coming together. The space will have a number of desks that small and growing tech businesses (or related) can rent on a monthly basis. There will also be some space, maybe a desk or two and some couches where people can drop in and work on an occasional day basis.
So it’s a good time to get everyone who is interested together to see one of the options and to talk about it.

Bart, we are setting up an office that will have some shared space. Basically there will be a number of desks that can be sub-let at a monthly rate.
There will also be some space in the office which will be open for drop-ins.
We’re meeting to talk about how it will work.

With pricing, we are currently looking at around;
Permanent Desk - $500-$600 per month.
Drop in price - $10 per day.

We could also have a ‘membership’ where you can drop in a few times each month.
Or a pass-pack where you pre-pay for a certain number of visits.
The $10 per day drop in is for very occasional visits. Maximum of twice per month.

It’s a bugger I missed the meeting, as I would be most interested in something like this. I need desk space, and there should be more places like this. How’d the meeting go? Is it going to happen? Sign me up!!
