Saw an invite for Social Median on Read/Write Web and thought I’d try it over morning coffee.
It’s basically a more social version of Digg combined to be a news reader. But it doesn’t build on my feeds, or didn’t seem to, and didn’t give me a hell of a lot more than other aggregators. [...]

Quick review tonight of Socialthing. It basically pulls in a lot of feeds (Twitter, Flickr, Facebook, Digg, Youtube, Delicious) and let’s you interact as much as possible. Like Friendfeed, but apparently even easier. These guys would benefit from a little widget to let me plug a micro version on my blog?

“Invite Your Friends, Or Go!”
I just created a Pollenizer account on Twitter and noticed that it was trying really, really hard to make me find or add friends. The skip link was so tiny, and hidden in the top left.

There is two sides to social metrics. The business side and the user side. This screenshot is one of my first views of how LinkedIn is trying to add more value by letting me see who’s looking at my profile.
It was an interesting experience. I felt like I was [...]

One of their biggest challenges is that they want to do more web 2.0 stuff, but the legal eagles won’t let them try and the IT guys won’t help them [...]

Afraid of Super Wall?

Just noticed this when Super Wall tried again (in vain) to be added by me. Not a chance!
“Afraid of abuse..?”
Wow, that’s pretty powerful. I must say I feel Facebook knows what’s going on inside it’s app and reacts pretty quickly to give customers the option to ditch [...]
